~ Heartfelt covers, catchy originals, gentle storytelling ~
Melody is a folk artist, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter who grew up in the beautiful Margaret River region. Inspired by the landscapes of the Southwest, her travels and her love of people, her music weaves gentle folk storytelling with touches of pop, jazz and classical. She completed a Bachelor of Contemporary Music through Victoria University (VU)and studied cross-institutionally at Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). With over 15 years of experience performing in schools, community events, venues, Church services and weddings, Melody brings a warm, engaging presence to every stage. In 2022 she founded Remedy Music, collaborating with a small circle of musicians — including harp, violin and percussion — to record, release and perform music that nurtures mental health and brings people together. When she’s not performing or in the studio, Melody also works as a school chaplain, a role that continues to inspire the compassion and hope woven through her performances and songwriting.

~ Feel Good Classic Jazz and Folk Tunes ~
Bryn and Melody grew up together in the Southwest and studied together at WAAPA. Melody completed part of her Bachelor in Melbourne as a singer-songwriter, and Bryn studied jazz guitar - however they both play a range of instruments. In 2022 Bryn and Melody launched their original folk/inspirational band ‘Remedy Music’, and now they are branching out as a dynamic duo, covering all things classic. They are inspired by swing-jazz crooners such as Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald, but they also love jamming 70s singer-songwriter hits by Elton John, Carole King and Billy Joel. Sing along to modern favourites by Passenger, Mumford and Sons, Paper Kites and the like and let them also capture your heart with some of their beautiful originals. Bryn and Melody’s sweet and unassuming stage presence - as well as their musical passion and joy - will light up any occasion.

Naturally, they started a band in 2022 called ‘Remedy Music’ and now they are branching out as a dynamic trio covering all things folk and sing-along. They run bush-dances in an effort to bring things back to the tribal ways, and they sing songs about how they envision the world to be. If you love James Taylor, Joni Mitchel, Bob Dylan and Simon & Garfunkel, you will adore this local Perth trio.
*Remedy Trio is now branching out and includes different members depending on their availability.

~ Bush Dances ~ Original Folk Tunes ~ Community Building
Remedy is a Perth up-and-coming indie-folk band that brings you an experience far beyond the music. With bush-dances, folk story-telling, and plenty of heart, you are sure to be swept up on an unforgettable journey. Remedy features members who have performed with the WA Symphony Orchestra, youth leaders in their communities and artisans who have completed musical training in WAAPA, Melbourne and the US. Between them they have roots in jazz, classical, contemporary and gospel; and together they produce a catchy, magnetic and eclectic sound.
Remedy's original songs are raw and honest, told through the poetry of beautiful instruments such as violin, harp, and drums. Each member of Remedy grew up in the country and are united by their friendship, love of the outdoors and deep desire to use their music for a greater purpose. They are passionate about mental health, bringing communities together and inspiring joy.
