Melody Grace - Soloist

Melody is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who brings her heart to the piano, guitar and ukulele, weaving them around a voice that is both soothing and dynamic.
With an open-hearted appreciation for life’s simple wonders, and a deep connection to her bush-coastal roots in Margaret River, she has a gift for turning any space into something truly memorable.
Raised in a musical family, Melody has been singing and playing from a young age, performing professionally from just eight years old and continuing to follow her passion ever since.
She holds a BMUS from VU in Melbourne and has also studied at WAAPA in Perth, where she built lasting connections within the music community and refined her craft both on stage and in the studio.
For Melody, music is deeply therapeutic—an ethos that led her to create her visionary collective, Remedy Music, which hosts shows centred around mental health and emotional connection. She performs across solo, duo, trio, and full band settings, with her ensemble often featuring the elegant textures of harp and violin.
Inspired by timeless singer-pianists like Billy Joel and Carole King, alongside folk influences such as Simon & Garfunkel, Passenger, and Mumford & Sons, Melody offers a sound that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly heartfelt—her own unique remedy for the soul.

Remedy Trio is a dynamic and ever-evolving collective, brought together by a shared love of music, community and the outdoors. Made up of a rotating lineup of talented musicians from the wider Remedy Music family, the trio shifts in form depending on availability—while always maintaining its signature warmth, connection and rich, folk-inspired sound.
Deeply rooted in community, each member is passionate about creating spaces where people feel seen, included and uplifted—particularly for young people seeking a sense of belonging. Alongside performances, Remedy Trio delivers engaging school programs for teenagers, centred around mental health, emotional wellbeing, and the power of music to connect and heal.
What began in 2022 as a heartfelt collaboration has grown into a vibrant offering, blending storytelling, harmony and joyful, participatory performance. From intimate acoustic sets to lively bush dances, Remedy Trio invites audiences into something both nostalgic and refreshingly alive—drawing on a love of simple, shared moments and music that brings people together.

Remedy is an indie-folk collective based in Perth, offering an experience that extends far beyond the stage. With a heart for community and connection, the band partners with organisations to create tailored events—bringing music, storytelling and shared celebration into spaces in a way that feels both meaningful and memorable.
Blending bush dances, original folk songs and immersive performance, Remedy invites audiences into something participatory and uplifting—where music becomes a vehicle for connection, joy and belonging. Each event is thoughtfully shaped to suit the community it serves, creating space for people to gather, engage and be part of something larger than themselves.
The band brings together a diverse group of musicians, including performers with experience alongside the WA Symphony Orchestra, trained artists from WAAPA, Melbourne and the US, as well as passionate community leaders. With roots spanning jazz, classical, contemporary and gospel, their sound is rich, eclectic and deeply expressive.
At the core of Remedy’s music is a spirit of honesty and hope. Their original songs are woven with storytelling and the textures of violin, harp and rhythmic percussion, reflecting a shared love of the outdoors and a desire to use music for a greater purpose.
