School Incursions
Spreading joy through music and creativity
Remedy Music delivers engaging school incursions that combine live original music, storytelling and practical wellbeing strategies to build resilience, connection and hope.
Our programs create a safe, creative and engaging space where students can explore mental health topics such as identity, self-worth, anxiety, friendships, bullying, social media, emotional regulation and growth mindset. Our programs are flexible to meet the needs of your school, and developed in collaboration with qualified therapists to provide practical, age-appropriate and evidence-based wellbeing strategies students can apply in everyday life.
We offer a range of flexible incursion options, including:
Live concerts and wellbeing presentations
Interactive workshops
Songwriting programs
Community bush dances and special school events
Our sessions can be tailored for primary or secondary students, whole-school assemblies, year groups or smaller classes. We also enjoy partnering with Music, Dance and Media departments to create meaningful collaborative learning experiences where students can actively participate in presentations.
Every student also receives access to Remedy Music’s full playlist following an incursion, allowing the music and messages to continue well beyond the day itself.
Led by WAAPA-trained musicians with extensive experience in schools, youth work and performance, Remedy Music seeks to leave every student feeling encouraged, valued and inspired long after the final song has finished.

Reviews:
"I was really blessed at Chapel this morning. The way Melody was engaging everyone, I could see that even the Kindys were so taken in by all that she said... It is so obvious that Melody has the gift of teaching... She is such a natural. I have heard the high school students talking so positively about her, and the parents of these young people are blown away with their growth."
-Carol, Education Assistant, The King's College
Thank you for sharing your wonderful music performance with our Year 4 and 5 students today. Your original song was incredibly inspiring and carried such a powerful message. The year 3s in particular greatly benefit from opportunities to reflect on their self-worth, and your lyrics encouraged them to see their value and importance. Also, the actions that accompanied the chorus kept my class engaged. Thank you for all that you do to support and inspire our students. We truly appreciate the positive impact you have on our school community.
-Fatima, Year 3 Teacher, Westminster Primary School
“...Brilliant... the students responded really well...”
-Ross, Year 6 Teacher, Westminster Primary School
We have been privileged to have Melody perform in our high school assembly where she spoke to our students and performed her songs. The message was uplifting and positive and encouraged students with hope that each has purpose and to be themselves… a positive voice for the youth of this generation.”
-Yani, Middle School Teacher, Dale Christian College
"I went to their last hoedown. If you want lively music with young people lead, if you're willing to try something new on your feet... I can't recommend anyone else more than Remedy Music!
-Michael, Remedy Bushdance Attendee
“I’ve been going through my old music folders from school when you taught me and I thought of you straight away and I wanted to let you know you were a huge inspiration in my life and you are so amazing and talented… I’ve written a few of my own songs with lyrics in the past few years and none of it would have happened without you. Thank you so much for being a great role model.”
-Dusty, Year 10 Student, Cornerstone Christian College
I have had the pleasure of working closely with Melody this year and have seen her passion for mental health outworked effectively in practical ways. Melody brings energy, charisma, and genuine encouragement, creating a positive environment for her primary school audience.
Whenever she has the task of bringing a diverse group of students together, she is able to creatively engage them, and mobilise them in the direction of the curriculum.
I highly recommend getting in touch with Melody at Remedy Music to see how she can serve your schools needs.
-Bec Phor, Director of IZRA
