Savannah, our legendary violinist, is teaching from the Perth Hills! Here’s a bit about her.
Savannah is a violinist originally from the US, who grew up in the Perth Hills. She first started playing the violin at the age of three and has now been playing for 22 years. Thanks to her American heritage, her favourite musical genres are country, folk and barn dances!
Throughout her childhood and into her teens Savannah was involved with a variety of different community organisations. Through Scouts and Rotary she has helped with a house building project in Cambodia, turtle conservation in the Philippines and regularly volunteers as a camp leader with Scripture union.
Savannah learnt violin through the Suzuki method and has been playing with her church worship band for over nine years. She is currently working as a registered nurse and teaching Violin both in schools and around the Perth Hills.
She enjoys an eclectic range of hobbies including archery, horse riding, eating beef jerky, reading and anything to do with fire. Savannah can usually be found sitting in a tree with her cat or firing flaming arrows on horseback in an injudicious attempt to combine her hobbies.
